To Be Remembered

I may noy have had a very long life so far (being only a teenager) but I want to do something really important in my life so I will be remembered. So first I thought I could win a Oscar for being awesome but I was brought down from that dream pretty quickly when people told me I couldn't win an Oscar for being awesome as Oscar's are for movies ans stuff, but I think that's what makes it so memorable because no-one would have done it before. So as that idea is pretty unlikely I am planning on one day having a statue of me put up somewhere so i will aways be remembered. What do you think? xxxx

Winnie The Pooh

Hey again, as my introduction was just, well an introduction I am going count this as my first official blog post. Ok so when I was younger I was obsessed with Winnie The Pooh (who wasn't?) and I used to love watching the Disney Classic version of it and I loved reading the book. I feel like the book was written for both adults and children alike as although the story is about a young boy and his toys, some of the subtle humour may only be picked up by older readers. For example I reading the book quite recently and I got to the part about Piglets house and Piglet said that the sign outside of his house "Trespassers W." stood for "Trespassers William" who he claimed to be his Grandfather. When I was younger I didn't understand this but when I read it again I realised that the sign was a "Trespassers will be prosecuted" sign and i found it quite funny.
Even though Winnie The Pooh is obviously a happy book I still get sad at the end when Christopher Robin goes to school as this means he is growing up and will soon forget about the Hundred Acre Wood and all his friends and all the adventures they had together. This is why when I saw the trailer for the new Winnie The Pooh movie coming out I got slightly upset because for me Winnie The Pooh ended when Christopher Robin left and to see him coming back as if nothing has changed is hard for me even if it was just a kids book. You will probably think that I'm strange getting upset over something like that but for me it was a really big deal as Winnie The Pooh was something i was very close to when i was a child an still even today which actually isn't saying that much as I am only a teenager now.
Even though the idea of the movie makes me kind of sas in a weird way I have to admit it looks good. It is being made in the same way the first Disney Classic Winnie The Pooh was, meaning that it is being drawn not animation (well I don't know if its being hand drawn but it looks like it). You know i'm probably actually gonna end up watching this movie and you never know I might love it. If you ever loved or still loved Winnie The Pooh go check out the trailer now and tell me what you think. xx
